Charity Trust Student Priantha Stars in GCSE ‘A-grade’ Success

The Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners’ Charity Trust has, for the past five years, provided support to one of the students at the school by way of a bursary.

The Deputy Master was delighted to receive the following letter from Priantha giving details of her fantastic achievements in her GCSEs at the end of the summer term.

Dear Mr Morrish,

This is Priantha,- the Worshipful Company of  Environmental Cleaners sponsors me to go to City of London School for Girls and I met you last summer at our Founders Day event.

I hope you are keeping well. As promised, I am writing to you to let you know how I have done in my GCSEs – sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I am very pleased to be able to tell you that I received A*s in all eleven subjects that I took and I also achieved and A grade (the highest grade) in the additional maths exam. I would not have been able to achieve so highly without your support that allows me to attend City of London School for Girls so I must thank all of you at the Worshipful Company from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to achieve my full potential. I hope I have made the Company proud and I hope to continue to do so over the next two years while I undertake A Levels in Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Further Maths and 20th Century History and apply for university.

Please would you be kind enough to forward my gratitude onto the rest of the company for their support.

I am looking forward to meeting with you or another representative of the Company at Prize Day next week.

Thank you

Priantha,

City of London School for Girls

Well done Priantha!
