Highlights of my year:
I was one of the few who was proposed for membership by the Principal Founder, Eric Hill.
My year 1996 was momentous in that it was the first time we had a member of our Company as Lord Mayor of London, Sir Roger Cork.
My wife and I attended numerous functions with Roger, including The Lord Mayors Banquet at Guildhall on the Monday after his Installation.
I also was responsible for Sir Robert Finch, another Lord Mayor, joining the WCEC, as we were at Felsted School together.
