Literary history
Congratulations to Mistress Angie Kay who has won a mention in Lesley Thomson‘s next book ‘The Dog Walker’ out in hardback on 6 April.
Lesley, who was the speaker at last year’s Ladies Banquet and 30th anniversary celebration, offered the opportunity to be included in the novel to help raise funds for the St Peter St James Hospice.
General elections
Our General Meeting takes place on 23 May 2017 at 10.15 at Armourers’ Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to elect Liverymen to be Court Assistants and re-elect current Court Assistants who have completed a specific term of office.
Charity support
Thanks to your support, we are able to help deserving charities through a number of annual donations and awards. These are administered by the Charitable Trust and details of the 2016/17 recipients are available on our website.

The Worshipful Company of Joiners and Ceilers invites you to attend its First Yeoman Lecture at 5.30-7.30pm on Thursday 30 March 2017 at Building Crafts College, Kennard Road, Stratford, London E15 1AH.

The Worshipful Company of Gardeners invites you to its talk at the Royal Geographical Society, Kensington Gore on ‘The need for parks and green spaces in urban environments; keeping London at the forefront of healthy, sustainable work places on the international stage’.
