Making giving easier
We know that you have a lots of good causes to donate to, so we are always looking to help make our Charitable Trust easier to support. With that in mind, along with the existing Give As You Live service you can now also use TotalGiving to boost our Trust’s funds while you shop.
Explore the City and help the MS Trust
From dawn until late night on Thursday 25 May a series of guided tours, special walks and exclusive events will take place throughout the City of London and beyond, in order to raise £20,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust. The Trust helps people to help themselves by taking more control over their MS.
Over 20 hours, there will be a variety of events, from a 6am tour of Smithfield Market (don’t forget your cool bag) to a spooky night-time ghost walk. To find out more and to book your tours visit www.20in20.london.
Support swimming event and still stay dry
You can now support the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Charity City Dip without getting your feet wet, by sponsoring the Lady Mayoress’ team. Participants complete as many lengths as possible within the time session chosen. All the money raised by the sponsored swimmers will go to the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.
Another event in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Charity is the City Go-Kart Grand Prix taking place at Daytona Sandown Park on 18 June.
Livery companies can enter teams of three or four drivers in the event which includes a practice session, a grid ranking race and the main Grand Prix. Spectators are also welcome. If you’d like to enter please contact the Clerk. For more information see our website.
