We hope you had a good summer and are ready for a busy calendar of forthcoming events, as the City gets back into full swing.
‘Speed Read’ is designed to keep you up to date with activities and events you may be interested in.
If you are a member of the Environmental Cleaners and did not receive a copy of Speed Read by email, please check you spam folder in case it has been caught in that. If not, please email Alistair Moses.
Liverymen summoned by Lord Mayor
All Liverymen are summoned to the Common Hall for the Election of the Lord Mayor on Michaelmas Day, 29 September 2016.
The Lord Mayor will take the chair for the election at 11.45am, precisely.
For tickets for Guildhall and to reserve a place for Luncheon (at Painter-Stainers’ Hall) please email the Clerk.
Shoot to thrill
The sharp shooters among you are invited by The Worshipful Company of Horners to its annual clay pigeon day on Monday 26 September.
With so many Livery Companies having strong Armed Services affiliations, the Horners would like to promote that bond with a particular class of prizes where a team consists of two livery and two armed services affiliated shooters.
For more information and the entry form see the events section of our website.
