Royal Fusiliers Memorial Lecture: “Our duty to our Soldiers: How are we doing?”
 
Don’t miss out on the 4th annual memorial lecture hosted by General Sir Peter Wall. This lecture is free of charge, but there will be a retiring collection for the Chapel. Allowing time for questions, the lecture is likely to end at about 7.30pm, but further discussion may take place informally over a glass of wine afterwards. 

Those wishing to attend are asked to send their names by e-mail to mjd451@gmail.com by Wednesday 1st May.  Bids will be confirmed, but no hard-copy tickets will be issued.

Apothecaries’ Hall Magical Mystery Tours 
The Apothecaries’ Hall Magical Mystery Tours will take place over three dates from 5:30 to 6:30pm: March 14th, April 15th, May 1st.  Touring the normally “hidden” parts of the Hall – the wine cellar, the old kitchen, the Minstrels’ Gallery, the Library.

Please feel free to “come as you are” as the dress code is very casual. Tours will have up to 15 people. Minimum donation £10 per head. This is passed onto the Apothecaries’ charity, but it’s NOT a charity event. Anyone is welcome, but with an emphasis on Masters, Prime Wardens, Upper Bailiffs, Wardens, Clerks, Spouses, and Liverymen.

Payment can be made by cheque (WSA General Charity Ltd), cash, bank transfer.

Tune into the London School for Girls Senior Choir in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the school.
The 125th Anniversary Celebration Concert will take place on the 12 March 2019, 7.30pm at Barbican Concert Hall. The City of London School for Girls’ Senior Choir, Orchestra and String Ensemble present a concert at the Barbican Concert Hall, to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the school.  Alice Farnham joins the concert to conduct the String Ensemble. Alice has been leading Women Conducting courses for the Royal Philharmonic Society, many of which have been hosted at CLSG. Paul Griffiths will be working with Music Scholars to devise a new work that will receive its premiere at the start of the concert.  The concert will raise funds for the school’s bursary appeal, which in the 125th year has set ambitious targets to ensure all girls, regardless of financial background, have access to a life-changing education.  Buy TicketsEvent
